This is an all-day trip, please pack your own lunch. Meet at Staples Parking Lot in Riverhead at 8:00am, from there we will carpool to Jamaica Bay and arrive around 10am. We will be birding both East and West Ponds and then have a lunch break. After lunch we will head over to Fort Tilden where we expect to see migrating raptors. We hope to see ducks, passerines, some shorebirds, and migrating monarch butterflies. At the end of the day we will have dinner in Howard Beach before heading back. We should be arriving back in Riverhead by 8pm.
