Bird Song Project: A Sculpture Trail
Now in its third year, the Bird Song Project continues to evolve, with each year offering a unique cultural experience. This year’s event will feature a series of original sculptures installed throughout Inlet Pond County Park.
Curated, installed, and maintained by the East End Arts Council, the exhibition brings contemporary art into a natural setting, inviting visitors to experience creativity in a new way.
The opening event on July 18th from 10-12pm will include live performances by local musicians, along with participating artists who will share insights into their creative process and discuss how their works are inspired by, and interact with, the surrounding landscape.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors can access additional information via on-site signage with QR codes, linking to a dedicated webpage with artist profiles and details about each piece. The sculptures will be up until October 11th.
By placing art in this unexpected outdoor venue, the project aims to foster a deeper connection between the community, local artists, and the natural beauty of the North Fork.
