In January 2026 a group of us from North Fork Audubon embarked on a very exciting trip to Honduras, a country hosting an astonishing diversity of ecosystems and nearly 800 species of birds. There, led by the incomparable birding guide Isis Castro of Choose Honduras, we visited several bird sanctuaries that are members of Aves Honduras, with whom we have begun a three year Sistership agreement. Our group came back so enthusiastic about all that we saw and experienced, that we asked Isis to offer a similar itinerary in 2027 to share with interested birding friends.

Isis has blocked out two date ranges for this unique birding and cultural experience:

$300 Deposit due before September 15, 2026

1st payment : October 15, 2026

2nd payment: November 30, 2026

April 13 (Tuesday) – April 22 (Thursday)

$300 Deposit due before October 1, 2026

1st payment : November 30, 2026

2nd payment: January 30, 2027
