  • Zoom Presentation (map)

Registration is required, please register here.

Aidan’s passion for birding began at age 11 after watching The Big Year. More than a decade later, in 2025, at 23 years old, he set out to take on one of birding’s greatest challenges: completing his own Big Year in Suffolk County. With the ambitious goal of breaking the standing record of 305 species, Aidan spent the year chasing rare sightings, enduring long days in the field, and navigating the highs and lows that come with competitive birding. Listen as Aidan shares the trials, surprises, and unforgettable moments from his remarkable year in pursuit of a new county record.
